After noticing that my teeth had become yellow of the years it became important for me to find a good home teeth whitening product. My teeth have probably become yellow over the years because I enjoy coffee in the mornings and also like to have a good cigar once in a while. Also, sometimes with dinners I will have red wine.

I found out through my research that the things that I loved were making my teeth yellow. Things such as coffee, and dark red wines, and also smoking cigars were most likely the biggest contributing factors. Who doesn’t like a good strong coffee in the early mornings to help wake up? Also, I do enjoy a good cigar once in a while and with dinners love to have red wine.

Boy oh boy was I disappointed when I really realized how yellow my teeth were. It awful just knowing that when I would smile or talk that your teeth were yellow and not nice and pearly white. I was always trying to cover up my smile and began almost mumbling my words because I would try so hard. This is when I began researching for good home teeth whitening products.

There are so many products and through my research I almost got more confused. I did a bunch of research and read so many different things about different products it made my head spin. I figured I would just have to try one that had rave reviews. I had tried so many different products in the past that I kind of knew what to look for.

I finally stumbled upon whiteblast. I figured I would try it out as it had good reviews and was new. I tried it out and boy it made a big difference! This was an awesome bleaching product. It tasted great to boot and not like gross chemicals like others I have used! Although having a good taste I cared more about the results by this time. I believe that my teeth are so much whiter, probably 4 shades or so and that is a lot. I am super happy that my teeth are so white now!

What Really Is The Best Teeth Whitener

January 27th, 2010 Michelle Spencer No comments

People who are looking at different types of teeth whitening products will find that there are many options available that are made to meet a wide range of needs. Before comparing whiteners, a person will want to determine what the cause of their staining is. Some products are more effective for certain types of stains than others. There are a few teeth whitening tips that can help you to achieve the results you want most quickly.

Discussing your whitening goals with a dental professional will be a good way of determining what your needs are. Your dentist knows what type of whiteners will be most effective on your teeth. If you have sensitive teeth, they will be able to recommend products for sensitive teeth. They will also be able to provide you with information about the different whitening options available.

When a person wants to get their teeth whitened professionally, it is important to talk to the professional first and compare the cost of the service. Teeth whitening costs can vary and may be very expensive. In most cases the treatment requires more then one trip to the dentist to get the results that are desired.

The at-home whitening treatments available will have different effects on staining. Some whiteners have Hydrogen Peroxide as their primary ingredient. These whiteners are more effective on surface stains that have not \”set\” in the enamel of the teeth. Other whiteners have Carbamide Perioxide as their main ingredient and are very effective on staining that is caused by medications such as Tetracycline.

Over the counter whiteners vary greatly. You may want to get a treatment that is used at night. These treatments usually have a thick gel that is poured into a tray with a syringe. The tray fits snugly on the teeth and do not slip out when you are sleeping. The same type of tray system may also be used for the day time treatments that are applied twice a day for thirty minutes.

Another type of whitener is in the form of strips. These strips are applied directly to the teeth for up to 30 minutes twice a day. Most will provide substantial results after ten days. After the initial ten day treatment, the strips are used on a yearly basis.

There are a few things that you will need to be aware of when you are comparing whiteners. If you have sensitive teeth it will be important to get a whitener that is made for sensitive teeth. After using the whitener it is important to avoid colored foods and liquids for at least three days while the teeth harden.

Maintaining your bright smile will be easier if you use a soft bristle toothbrush and floss daily. Brushing the teeth with a whitening toothpaste will also help your teeth to remain bright and white. Replacing your toothbrush every two to three months is another important way to keep your teeth white.

Taking the time to do some research on each of the whitening treatments available, their cost and effectiveness will help you to find the treatment that will be most likely to meet your needs. When you are deciding on which teeth whitening tips to compare, talking to a professional who has knowledge and expertise in all of the treatments available and the effects of the ingredients used in the products will help you to make a knowledgeable decision.

You don\’t need professional teeth whitening procedures for whiter teeth – these dental teeth whitening tips will help you brighten your smile using some of the best teeth whitening products over the counter. You can get a unique content version of this article from the Uber Article Directory.
