There’s a good chance that you’ve seen BreathRX when browsing the dental section of your local pharmacy. I’d personally been wondering about it for a while, until one day I was curious enough to see how effective it’d actually be.

I always saw BreathRX as a bit pricey and was reluctant to try it out. One day, frustrated with the fact that it seemed like my most recent toothpaste/mouthwash combo wasn’t doing enough, I decided to buy some BreathRX.

BreathRX works because of some unique technology that they claim both kills the bad breath bacteria, and then neutralizes the mouth. The combination of some antibacterial oils (these kill the germs on your tongue that are responsible for bad breath) and some zinc, which balances out the state of the mouth, works effectively to kill bad breath, according to the company.

Depending on how extensive you’d like to be with respect to your fight against bad breath, there are a number of different BreathRX products that you may be able to purchase. On a basic level, there’s toothpaste and mouthwash, but there are also tongue scrapers, tongue sprays, gum balls, mints, and more.

I don’t know what you normally use in your fight against bad breath, but there’s a good chance that BreathRX will have all of the things you normally use. If you’re a little hesitant to spend too much at once, you might want to look into a starter kit, many of which are sold online. These include a bunch of different things in one package.

All that I can say is I haven’t bought any other brand since making the switch to the BreathRX system. All I use is the toothpaste and the mouthwash as I find this more than enough, but I’ve read online that the other products do their jobs as well. It’s all a matter of what you need.

Instead of buying this at your local pharmacy, I’d probably look for a good deal online. There are tons of them out there, and you’ll get a lot more for your money than you will in local stores.

Whether you should choose to use this product or not, I wish you luck. BreathRX definitely gets my highest marks.

Teeth Whitening With Lasers

May 23rd, 2010 Jane Davies No comments

These days, many treatments are made easier by the use of lasers. Teeth whitening is no different and laser teeth whitening is now one of the choices that people have if they want to have whiter teeth.

Laser teeth whitening is ideal for those who want to have it done effortlessly and quickly. Unlike other methods of teeth whitening, you do not have to wait days or months to see the results of the treatment. You will notice that once the laser treatment is completed your teeth are whiter than they used to be. Many people are choosing this option because of the fast results that it brings. If you are required to be in a do where you want everyone to notice how beautiful your smile is, this is the best way you can do it.

How does laser teeth whitening work?

1. Teeth Cleaning: The dental technician will start the process by cleaning your teeth. This is important because the plaque and germs that are present on your teeth will have a major effect on the whitening process. The result of the treatment is greatly affected by the present condition of your teeth. That is why they have to be cleansed first.

2. Application of Whitening Gel and Laser Treatment: Once your teeth have been cleaned, the dentist will put the whitening gel on your teeth. After the gel is applied, you will then be positioned for the laser treatment. The purpose of the laser here is to enhance the whitening process of the gel. Without laser, it would take several minutes or even hours before the gel can affect your teeth. With laser, the whitening ingredients in the gel are immediately activated so that it produces results in a matter of seconds.

For more extreme cases of discolouration, one session is usually not enough to achieve the required result. Sometimes, the person is required to come return for some more sessions before the change in the teeth colour becomes noticeable. But for those who have mild teeth discolouration, one session is often enough.

Is laser whitening good for everyone?

Just as with all professional teeth whitening treatments, you can expect to pay a higher price for laser treatment than for over-the-counter remedies. Laser teeth whitening is more expensive than any other dentist-assisted method and if you are used to OTC teeth whitening products, you will be shocked at the cost of professional laser teeth whitening. However, the price varies from clinic to clinic, but if you want to get the best deal for your money, you should do some extra research to find out which one is offering the best deal.

You will find many opportunities of laser teeth whitening dental surgeries to choose from on the Internet, but before deciding on one, read over all the advertisements so that you do not miss out on any of the other great deals there might be. If you are intent on having a great Hollywood smile, you could set up a savings account just for the laser teeth whitening session. Once you see the results, you will not be sorry and you can say that your money was well spent. Just think of it this way: why spend repeatedly on something that will take longer when you can spend once on laser teeth whitening and have an immediate and great smile?

Home Remedies For Teeth Whitening

May 19th, 2010 Pauline Davies No comments

Do you have a lot of time yet are not a lot of money for a smile makeover? If so, a home teeth whitening remedy is an appropriate choice. Notice that I used the word ‘appropriate’ instead of ‘best’. Both professional teeth whitening and home remedy teeth whitening systems are used in order to obtain a Hollywood smile. It is just up to the patient’s way of life which is the appropriate method.

The following provides an appraisal of teeth whitening systems that you use in the comfort of your own home and in your own time. The amount of money to be spent on these home remedies is also considered. NOTE: You ought to consult your dentist or even your physician before trying any of the following home-made teeth whitening remedies.

Can I make my own teeth whitening solution inexpensively? Well, you can save your hard-earned money on costly teeth bleaching items! By setting aside the necessary time for carrying out the recommended tips, you can ensure that you have a bright set of teeth at no extra cost. You can have a bright set of teeth with stuff that are probably already in your kitchen cabinet or medicine chest.

Do I have these things in my house? Yes, they are. All we are talking about are everyday items such as baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, cups, bowls, and spoons.

How do you make home whitening paste? To make a paste, mix two or three teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide and two teaspoons of baking soda together. Put the ingredients in a small bowl. The consistency of the paste should be that of toothpaste. For extra taste, a bit of mint or squeeze of toothpaste can be combined with the home-made paste.

How is this home-made paste used? Apply with a toothbrush and leave the mixture on your teeth for a couple of minutes. You should avoid swallowing the mixture, but if it happens, don’t worry, just drink plenty of water.

What do I do after brushing the paste onto my teeth? You need to brush again using regular toothpaste to get rid of the bitter taste of the hydrogen peroxide. Smokers, coffee drinkers and even grandparents may use this remedy to minimize the heavy stains on their teeth.

Can I use this paste with sensitive teeth or gums? In the case that, you have gingivitis, cavities, open sores, or other gum problems, the paste may make your gums turn pale for a short time. However, remember that you should contact a dentist or even a doctor before testing this treatment.

How often can I spread the paste on my teeth? Once a week is the safest. You should avoid brushing your teeth with this mixture more often than that.

To summarize, here are some characteristics of do-it-yourself home-made teeth whitening systems:

The person must be able to perform and follow the afore-mentioned instructions. The patient must allocate time to perform the do-it-yourself whitening remedies. You need persistence as it can take more than a month before visible results are achieved. Home-made remedies cost a lot less than professional teeth whitening solutions. I hope this article puts a whiter smile on your face!

Your Guide To Tooth Whitening

March 7th, 2010 Jamie Paris No comments

Who doesn’t want their smile to reveal brilliant rows of white teeth? Nobody likes yellowing teeth, but everybody finds a nice white smile attractive.

Progress in the field of dentistry has meant that our teeth now have a better chance of looking good than they did, say, 20 years ago. There’s a whitening action in nearly every toothpaste that’s available these days.

Toothpastes to help whiten teeth did exist 20 years ago, but there were very few of them. Also, they cost a lot, so not many people could afford them.

But whiter teeth are no longer hard to achieve. I’d like to suggest these four easy methods, which should give you good results.

There are strips available for this purpose. Normally, they have to be applied to the teeth one or two times per day for a couple of weeks. It’s important to stick to the routine and if you do, you can be sure to have great results.

Another way is to go for a UV treatment. In this method, a combination of ultraviolet rays and a gel are used to brighten up your smile. Some malls even have UV treatment kiosks you can visit. You walk away with instantly whiter teeth.

Porcelain veneers are another way of making your teeth whiter. The advantage of these is that they don’t stain and they can last for up to 20 years.

Finally, you can just be careful of your diet and dental hygiene. Some foods and drinks cause plaque and stains to form. Steer clear of dark cola, coffee and iced tea for this reason. If you do drink one of these, be sure to clean your teeth as soon as you can afterward.

The author also frequently writes regarding things including the home popcorn machine and commercial popcorn machine. <a href=

Why Using Dental Floss Is Critical

March 5th, 2010 Robert Rangel No comments

You may not be aware of this, but many dentists consider flossing your teeth to be almost as important as brushing them. It should always be included in your daily oral hygiene routine because it helps keep your mouth and gums healthy.

I\’d like to take a look at why flossing is so important. This kind of knowledge is vital to our well-being and I hope to give you good reason to start flossing every day.

In the first place, flossing your teeth will get rid of any plaque that might have formed there. If food stays in between your teeth for a long time it causes plaque to build up.

No-one likes to see teeth that have been discolored by plaque so its best to keep it away. It\’s also bad for you, so make sure you have a nice healthy smile by using floss on your teeth daily.

Floss regularly and you\’ll have healthy gums, too. Food that stays on your teeth too long starts to irritate the gum and this can lead to gingivitis. But flossing will help you avoid that problem.

You can also keep bad breath to an absolute minimum by flossing daily. Think about food that\’s been left lying around anywhere. Could you leave a piece of meat sitting in your kitchen for a few weeks? You know as well as I do that it would spoil and begin to smell horribly as it rots.

Why do that in your mouth then? That\’s effectively what you\’re doing by not flossing! Hopefully this puts things into perspective, because the analogy couldn\’t possibly be more accurate.

There\’s really no excuse not to floss your teeth, with dental floss costing so little. For a few dollars, you\’ll have an adequate supply of floss that lasts you at least a few months. If you can make yourself remember to do it as part of your daily routine, you\’ll soon feel its positive effects.

Aside from flossing, the writer additionally frequently publishes information about the gas generator and whole house standby generators.
