Causes Of Bad Breath and How To Avoid Them
If for some reason every time you start talking to people they immediately turn there head away from you, that could be a strong sign that you have bad breath. This is not something that you can just let go, unless you like having people avoid you and not engage in conversation, or if you want to remain single the rest of your life.
Some of the reasons that cause bad breath.
One of the more common reasons of bad breath comes from food particles, sitting between the teeth, which is also known as halitosis. Now there are bacteria that keep themselves busy so as to prevent bad bacteria from forming, but when you dont clean your mouth and teeth to get rid of these particles, bad bacteria are immediately attracted causing them to form a community inside, to you this is bad breath.
If you do not drink a lot of water, then you are also asking for bad breath. If you keep your mouth dry, then bad bacteria will make a fort in your mouth and start stinking it up. You can easily stop this from happening, and stop nasty smelly bacteria from camping out in your mouth by keeping it moist with water.
Smoking is also a great contributor to bad breath, and it is especially noticed by those that do not smoke. Not only is smoking a sure way to give you bad breath, but it also causes plaque, makes your teeth yellow and can kill you.
Another cause of bad breath is infections such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and other similar conditions. Infections carry themselves compounds which are absorbed down the mouth and cause the breath to smell bad.
How to avoid getting bad breath.
Brushing your teeth twice a day, also brush up and down your tongue as bad bacteria likes to hang out there also. Flossing is another great way to get rid of those food particles that love to hang out in between your teeth. Flossing and brushing alone will not get rid of all the food particles, so it is also advised that you use mouth wash, for bad breath purposes preferably not one with alcohol in it.
Routine check ups with the dentist are always a good thing also. If you still have bad breath and you keep excellent oral hygiene, let your dentist or a doctor know immediately, as you have a condition that will require a dentist or oral specialist to get rid of.
