The duties that an orthodontists assistant will be asked to fulfill are vast. One duty that they must fulfill is the set-up of an office for an incoming patient. They are held liable for ensuring that a doctor has the correct instruments that they need in order to assist a patient with their qualms.

Set up also includes ensuring that rinsing cups are full as well as laying out the paper coverings for the patient’s tray that they will be using. Without the assistant assuring that everything is where it needs to be an orthodontist may find their job to be a lot more daunting than it has to be.
